This week, moveBuddha has revealed the Florida suburbs seeing the most demand.

The report says that around one-third of Americans want to live in suburban environments this year — areas where people have more space, better schools and “just more room to stretch out.”

“These top suburbs have the highest ratio of searches for moves in-to-out of cities across their metro area (and excluding the metro’s primary city),” the report reads.

In Florida, the top suburban area turned out to be Clermont, with a move-in-to-out ratio of exactly 2. This puts Clermont at No. 11 nationally.

But it’s not the only Florida city to make the list; Wesley Chapel came in just below at No. 13, with Haines City falling a bit further back at No. 17.

“These numbers underscore how Florida’s growth isn’t just retirees or coastal living,” a spokesperson for moveBuddha told News 6. “It’s families and professionals choosing affordable, lifestyle-rich suburbs that balance cost with access to jobs and amenities.”

That being said, there’s a drawback to these coveted areas, and that comes in the form of home prices.

According to the report, real estate in the most desirable suburbs costs around 57% more than the typical American home. And they’re only expected to climb in the future.

“Only 31 of the 81 top move-to suburbs offer below-average home prices, with real estate ranging from about $187K in Warren, OH, to $3.49M in Palo Alto, CA,” the study continues.

Regardless, the top 50 suburbs ranked in this year’s report are as follows:
