BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Investigators in Brevard County released the names Friday of a 35-year-old woman who was shot to death and the 41-year-old man accused of pulling the trigger.
Deputies said Ashley Perala was found shot to death inside a home on Oriole Circle in Barefoot Bay on Tuesday.

Perala shared the home with William Chambless who claimed he was in another room when he heard voices and a gunshot, according to a news release.
Deputies said as they searched the property, they found a gun outside the home that matched the caliber used in the deadly shooting.
William Chambless, 41 (Copyright 2022 by WKMG ClickOrlando - All rights reserved.) They added that Chambless was seen in the area where the gun was located following the shooting.
Chambless is locked up without bond facing charges of second-degree murder with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
