SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. – A pair of dogs was found tied to a dumpster at a rest stop in Central Florida, leading investigators to ask for help from the public, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

In a release on Wednesday evening, troopers said the two dogs were discovered at the northbound Sumter County Rest Area along Interstate 75.

Now, troopers are asking anyone who recalls seeing a White female in a red van in the rest area with the dogs to call *347.

“And remember #DoBetter,” the release concludes.
