ORLANDO, Fla. – During the final week of May, another seven eateries across Central Florida were forced to close after a visit from a health inspector, according to state records.
These records show that the reported eateries experienced violations like rodent droppings, roaches, and storage issues, among others.

That said, most of the eateries were allowed to reopen after meeting inspection standards.
The full list of Central Florida eateries required to close last week is as follows:
DAYTONA BEACH
- Ichi Ni San — 246 S. Beach Street
- Closed on May 27
- Dead rodent found behind cooler in storage
- Fifteen rodent droppings found on premises
- Raw chicken stored over cooked chicken
- Spray hose at dish sink lower than flood rim of sink
- Time/temperature violations for beef and boiled egg
- Met inspection standards on May 28
DELAND
- Cook’s Buffet Café Bakery — 704 N. Woodland Blvd.
- Closed on May 27
- Nearly 20 dead roaches found on premises
- Six live roaches found on premises
- Met inspection standards on May 28
FLAGLER BEACH
- The Cajun Beach — 1112 S. Ocean Shore Blvd.
- Closed on May 26
- Plumbing to the handwashing station installed in a way that prevented water from draining
- One small flying insect spotted in dining area
- Nearly 30 rodent droppings found on premises
- Met inspection standards on May 27
LONGWOOD
- Longwood Country Kitchen — 258-260 SR W. 434
- Closed on May 26
- Two dead roaches on bread shelf; five dead roaches in cabinet of hand-wash sink
- Over 20 live roaches found on premises
- Philly meat and raw breaded fish kept over fries and onion rings at reach-in freezer
- Time/temperature violation for French toast mix (operator stated it was left out during busy rush for less than two hours)
