Man, juvenile arrested in vehicle thefts, stolen credit cards, Titusville police say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – A man and a juvenile have been arrested in connection with vehicle burglaries and the use of stolen credit cards from those burglaries, Titusville police said.

Kevin Rossi, 44, was arrested Thursday and charged with possession of stolen credit cards, fraudulent use of a credit card and contributing to the delinquency of a child.

The investigation revealed that on May 4, two juveniles stole vehicle keys out of private lockers at the Parrish Medical Health and Fitness Center, and used those keys to access vehicles and take items, including credit cards, from the vehicles, according to Titusville police.

Surveillance footage on May 4 showed Rossi and one of the juveniles proceeding to use the stolen credit cards to make an unauthorized purchase at the Colonial Coast Crossing Publix and the Exxon gas station at 1780 Cheney Highway, police said.

Rossi was booked into the Brevard County Jail. Police said his bond was set at $5,000.

The juvenile was arrested by Titusville police detectives and charged with two counts of vehicle burglary and two counts of petty theft, police said. The Juvenile Justice Department has remanded the juvenile to the custody of his parent, and he has a pending court date.
