ORLANDO, Fla. – A school bus was shot Monday afternoon in Orange County, according to the Orlando Police Department.
Officers received a call at 2:35 p.m. about an unknown person shooting into an Orange County school bus in the 3000 block of Edgewater Drive. It's unclear if any students were on board at the time of the incident.
The bus was hit one time by a small caliber round, possibly from a BB or pellet gun, police said.
No serious injuries were reported, although police said the bus driver's assistant did suffer a few scratches from pieces of glass.
