Yes, I’m still mentally among the sunflowers back at Southern Hill Farms. The topic of sunflowers came up in the newsroom this week after someone spotted Florida’s own fall flowers: swamp sunflowers.

And they’re close to the Orlando area! Here’s where to go to delight in them.

Prepare for daring sword fights, live performances and all things pirates this weekend at the Space Coast Pirate & Seafood Festival 🏴‍☠️.

Who knows, you might spot Jack Sparrow in the crowd.

The three-day festival will transform Space Coast Daily Park into “a pirate’s haven, featuring a bustling pirate village with costumed reenactors, live music, and an immersive atmosphere that harkens back to the golden age of piracy.”
