ORLANDO, Fla. — Leu Gardens remains closed due to damage sustained from Hurricane Ian. Officials said garden staff and volunteers are working to clear debris and downed trees from the garden’s pathways. Private events, classes and weddings are continuing as scheduled, while the garden expects to reopen to the public later this week. “Our thoughts go out to Floridians everywhere that have been impacted by Hurricane Ian and we hope for a speedy recovery,” garden officials said in a statement. ©2022 Cox Media Group

Not to mention tools and accessories and lights.Sale organizers helpfully suggest you bring a plant cart to properly transport your new leafy treasures around the sale (it's pretty spread out) and back to your car.The plant sale is free for all to attend — masked — which means you get the added perk of free admission to the Gardens too. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Leu Gardens is great for something like Dazzling Nights because ... we ended up having about 37,000 guests go through Dazzling Nights and most of that is paved. Mead Garden is quite different from Leu Gardens in that it's a little bit more rustic. What knowledge have you taken from doing Dazzling Nights and Bright Young Things, and then put toward this? Has presenting Bright Young Things, Dazzling Nights and Down the Rabbit Hole perhaps made you more of an outdoors person?

Visitors can expect to see more than 20 dinosaurs ranging in size from 14 inches to 33 feet tall, sprawled across the 50-acre garden.Each dinosaur is designed by Guy Darrough , a self-taught fossil collector and illustrator who has dedicated over 45 years of his life to these ancient reptiles. He works with sculptors to bring his model designs to 3-D life.A map will be provided to guide visitors who want to find their favorite dinosaur among the 15 dinosaur stations scattered across the garden. Some stations will include more than one dinosaur.Entry to the Dinosaur Invasion exhibit — the first since 2017 — will be included with all Leu Gardens general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Welcome Center ($10 for adults and $5 for children; children under 3 may attend free).Make sure to bring face masks, as they are mandatory inside all buildings.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Organizers at the Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando are celebrating a huge success over the holiday season. The creators of the popular “Dazzling Nights” event said after 36 days, the nighttime light show brought in more than 35,000 people from Central Florida and beyond. “Dazzling Nights” was an outdoor holiday event consisting of a 3/4-mile walking journey featuring a 65-foot-long light tunnel, lasers, interactive light installations, more than a million points of light, snow and live entertainment. Creators from the Creative City Project and The Memoir Agency worked with people at the city of Orlando, Leu Gardens and AdventHealth to make the event happen. ‘Dinosaur Invasion’ returning to Orlando’s Leu Gardens
Orlando’s Harry P. Leu Gardens is set to welcome back it’s prehistoric event, Dinosaur Invasion. “He meticulously crafts each dinosaur for authenticity creating one of the most prominent dinosaur exhibits in the United States,” the website said.
