Mardy Fish out as US Davis Cup captain before next matches
Mardy Fish is out as captain of the U.S. Davis Cup team after the U.S. Tennis Association said Friday that the two sides "mutually agreed to move in a new direction." Ram was notably left off the squad by Fish for the Davis Cup Finals in November. Fish, a former professional player who had been the U.S. captain since 2019, and Davis Cup coach Bob Bryan were fined $10,000 apiece in November by the International Tennis Integrity Agency for promoting a gambling operator via social media. The United States reached the Davis Cup quarterfinals in 2022, losing to Italy at that stage. Fish won six titles in singles and eight in doubles as a player, earned a silver medal for the United States at the 2004 Athens Olympics in singles and competed in the Davis Cup from 2002-12.

Fish sandwich back at Chick-fil-A in time for Lent
Chick-fil-A announced its restaurants will add a fish sandwich made of cod back to the menu through Saturday, April 11. This addition comes back just in time for those participating in Lent, a tradition the restaurant started in 2016. Fish will be available in a traditional sandwich with two portions of fish or as a deluxe sandwich with tomato, lettuce and American cheese. Customers can also order a boxed two- and three-count fish entrée meal that is served with waffle fries. Fish will only be available at select locations, so check with local restaurants before arriving.
Man shot, robbed during Plenty of Fish date set up by Seminole High School student, police say
SANFORD, Fla. – A man who thought he was going on a date with a woman he met on the Plenty of Fish dating app was instead shot and robbed, according to Sanford police who say the plan was set up by a Seminole County High School student. The victim told police he had been chatting with a woman named “Keke” on the dating app and they had agreed to meet near 1001 W. 10th Street in Sanford on Jan. 19. Detectives were able to match the “KeKe” Plenty of Fish account to Ja 'Kila Taylor, 18, a student at Seminole County High School. Taylor told detectives she helped set up the victim but did not know the two males involved. She told authorities her friend connected her with the other suspects and denied knowing the man would be shot.
