Several Michigan State players are set to have their charges dismissed after the Spartan’s altercation at Michigan Stadium last season. Four Michigan State players — Angelo Grose, Itayvion Brown, Brandon Wright and Justin White — will likely have their misdemeanor charges dropped in exchange for community service, attorneys said Friday. Seven Michigan State players were charged after a brawl broke out in the tunnel after Michigan beat the Spartans 29-7 in October. Michigan State suspended eight players as a result of the incident. Cornerback Khary Crump was the only Michigan State player charged with a felony.

Video captured on social media by several reporters and published by the Detroit News showed Michigan State players allegedly throwing punches and kicks toward Wolverines defensive back Ja’Den McBurrows in the tunnel at Michigan Stadium. Both Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and Michigan State coach Mel Tucker addressed the media following the incident, WILX-TV reported. Breaking Seven Michigan State football players are being charged, with one facing a felony charge, for the assault on two Michigan players in the tunnel after the two teams played on Oct. 29, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office announced.

MSU announced Tuesday that cornerback Malcolm Jones, cornerback Justin White, defensive end Jacoby Windmon and defensive end Brandon Wright have been added to the list of Spartans suspended indefinitely. The suspensions stem from an altercation between players from both Michigan State and Michigan in the tunnel after Michigan’s 29-7 win on Saturday night. In video posted on social media, multiple MSU players appear to punch and kick one Michigan player. Michigan State, now 3-5 on the year, will resume play on Saturday at Illinois.
