Police: Hit and run suspect causes several crashes in Osceola County
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — A suspected car thief who police say was responsible for several crashes throughout Osceola County was arrested by deputies Tuesday morning. Police say the suspect then crashed the stolen car through a gate at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport where the car broke down. About 30 minutes later, the suspect crashed the stolen pickup into a car carrier on the Florida Turnpike and drove away again. After interviewing witnesses, Florida Highway Troopers put out a description of the pickup which was later spotted by Osceola deputies. Investigators have not released the name of the suspect or the exact charges he is facing.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Kissimmee Police say two men were found fatally shot at a housing complex on New Year’s Day. Records show police were called to 2221 San Vittorino Circle around 11:23 p.m. Friday and found 24-year-old Dennis Woodward and 27-year-old Jeremy Nicholas both dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Police: SunRail strikes car in Kissimmee, no injuries reported
OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Kissimmee police have reported that a SunRail, with six passengers on board, hit a vehicle on Thursday. SunRail officials released an update saying, “Train P313 SB is delayed 60 mins due to police assistance near the tracks in Kissimmee.”The train experienced close to a 40 minute delay due to the incident, officials said. The Seminole County Sheriffs Office said cell carrier outages nationwide are affecting 911 services. Residents are asked to call 407-665-6650 for emergency assistance until services are restored. Kissimmee Police said some cell phone carriers are having network issues with calling 911, anyone with issues can try texting 911 or calling the non-emergency number at 407-846-3333.
