OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 52-year-old man was killed Tuesday after Florida Highway Patrol troopers say an SUV crashed into his motorcycle in Osceola County. The crash was reported at 3:20 p.m. near Laguna Bay Circle, according to troopers. According to the FHP crash report, the motorcyclist was traveling south on Poinciana Boulevard when the driver of an SUV attempted to change lanes and struck the left side of the motorcycle. The crash remains under investigation. No other details, including the victim’s name, were immediately available.

POINCIANA, Fla. – A man and woman were killed and two others were injured Monday afternoon in a head-on crash near Poinciana, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The wreck was reported around 1:05 p.m. on Poinciana Boulevard, south of Reaves Road. The FHP said a 21-year-old Kissimmee man was driving south when his car traveled into the northbound lane and struck an SUV head-on. The Kissimmee man and a front seat passenger, an unidentified woman who was ejected from the car, died in the crash, the FHP said. The driver of the SUV, a 33-year-old Kissimmee man, also suffered serious injuries, the FHP said.

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. Drivers without a prepaid toll transponder will have to pay a little more to use Osceola Parkway. Starting Wednesday, rates increased by $1 at the Shingle Creek and Poinciana Boulevard toll plazas. Drivers who have a SunPass or E-Pass wont see an increase. The rate increase only applies to drivers who pay-by-plate and are billed each time they pass through a toll plaza.
