Motorcyclist killed when struck by truck, run over by car in Osceola hit-and-run crash, FHP says

Investigation underway near Poinciana, according to the FHP

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist near Poinciana Saturday night is under investigation, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The victim, a 28-year-old Kissimmee man, was driving north on Poinciana Boulevard when the front of his motorcycle was struck by a pickup truck attempting to turn left out of Isles of Bellalago Drive onto Poinciana Boulevard at 11:50 p.m., according to the FHP.

Troopers said the collision threw the motorcyclist from his bike onto the roadway, where he was run over by an unknown white passenger vehicle that continued driving.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, the FHP said.
