Woman dies in fire truck crash in Daytona Beach
A 52-year-old Ormond Beach woman died and five City of Daytona Beach fire fighters were hurt following a traffic crash near Halifax Health Medical Center on Saturday. Just after 5 p.m., a Daytona Beach Fire Department truck flipped over after a collision with a silver Pontiac driven by the woman, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department. Motorcyclist killed in DeLand crash, police say
DeLAND, Fla. โ A 25-year-old motorcylist was killed and the driver of a car was injured during a crash Tuesday morning in DeLand, according to police. Records show Josh Hillman was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle south on North Amelia Avenue when he crashed into a Pontiac that was crossing at the intersection of East Church Street. Hillman, 25, died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Pontiac was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
