ORLANDO, Fla. – A 69-year-old Kissimmee man was killed Tuesday afternoon when his motorcycle rear-ended a parked car on the shoulder of an Orange County road, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal wreck happened around 5:40 p.m. on Sailfish Street near Kingfish Street near Orlando.

The FHP said the man was driving a Honda motorcycle north on Sailfish Street and failed to observe a blue Honda CR-V that was parked on the shoulder.

The right front of the bike struck the front of the car, causing the motorcyclist to be thrown to the ground, the FHP said.
