62-year-old Florida man killed in crash near Orange-Lake county line

Victim ID’d as 62-year-old Astatula man

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 62-year-old Astatula man was killed late Tuesday in a crash near the Orange-Lake county line, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal crash happened on North Orange Blossom Trail near Stoneybrook Hills Parkway.

The FHP said the man was crossing OBT, but was not in a crosswalk, when he was struck by a van driven by a 62-year-old Altamonte Springs woman.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an FHP crash report.

The woman was taken to Waterman Hospital with minor injuries, troopers said.
