KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A 48-year-old Orlando man died after a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Florida’s Turnpike in Kissimmee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash involved a 2022 Lexus RX and occurred around 11:03 a.m. southbound at mile marker 247, troopers said.

According to an FHP crash report, the Orlando man was the Lexus’ driver and ran the vehicle off the roadway to the right for unknown reasons. The right side of the Lexus then struck the tree line, the report states.

The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, troopers said.
