ORLANDO, Fla. – After some patchy fog across Central Florida on Friday morning, a few clouds will linger into the afternoon. High pressure will continue to settle over the western Atlantic, streaming our wind flow off the ocean through the weekend.

A light onshore breeze will keep a chance for an isolated passing sprinkle along the coast, with a steady flow of clouds inland.

Highs in the Orlando area will reach the mid-70s along the coast and upper 70s across the interior. Lows will continue to be in the mid to upper 50s.

Patchy fog may still be possible early Saturday morning.

As we head into the weekend, our winds will become more southerly, which will warm our temperatures even further. Afternoon highs on Saturday will be near 80 degrees before climbing into the low 80s by Super Bowl Sunday.

Early next week, a cold front is forecast to approach the area by Monday. Models have become in better agreement on the timing of the front, with coverage increasing to 30% for scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm.

Behind the front, conditions will remain breezy into Tuesday afternoon as winds veer northwest, ushering in drier and cooler weather. Highs will be noticeably cooler, falling into the low 70s through late week.

The coolest morning looks to be Wednesday, with lows in the low 50s.
