Central Florida welcomes back sunshine for the weekend

Dry and pleasant weather returns to Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – The sunshine returns to Central Florida this weekend. A cold front passed through during the overnight hours bringing some rain to a few cities. Now that the cold front has exited, drier and less-humid air begins to move in across the state.

Daytime highs will be slightly below average climbing into the lower 70s and it’ll be breezy. Winds are expected to stay out of the northwest between 10-15 mph, then out of the west this afternoon.

Due to the breezy conditions, a high rip current risk is in place along the coast until tonight.
