Hit-and-run driver kills skateboarder in Ocoee, police say No vehicle description available No description found
OCOEE, Fla. – A driver crashed into a skateboarder then fled the scene without helping the victim, who died as a result of his injuries, according to the Ocoee Police Department.
Police said the victim was hit at the intersection of Silver Star Road and 1st Street at about 9:05 p.m. Sunday. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities described him as an adult male but haven’t released his name or age because his family has not yet been notified of his death.
The driver has not been located and no description of the suspect vehicle was immediately available.
Anyone who has information about the crash is asked to call the Ocoee Police Department at 407-905-3160.
