Man arrested after fight leads to fatal shooting at Orange County apartment complex

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An 18-year-old man was arrested after a fight at an Orange County apartment complex led to a fatal shooting over the weekend, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Jaheim Lord, 18, was arrested after deputies responded to Pointe Vista Apartments Saturday around 4:45 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

Deputies said witnesses told them the shooting happened after two men were fighting.

Frantz Gustave, 42, was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

Details of what led up to the fight have not been released.

Lord faces a first-degree murder charge and was booking into the Orange County jail.
