COCOA, Fla. – Seven bands will takeover Cocoa Riverfront Park this month for more than six hours of live music.
The Space Coast River Jam will take place from 4-10:30 p.m. on Friday, May 13. Gates open at 3 p.m.

The event’s headliner is The Katz Downstairz and they will take the stage at 9:15 p.m. Other performers include John Q and The Master Blasters, Midnight Groove, Soultime, Cherry Down, Drew and String Daddy.
Tickets are now on sale with general admission costing $10.
VIP tickets cost $75 and get you preferred seating, private catering and three drinks for that price, according to the event’s website.

Vendors will be on-site selling food and beverages.
The event benefits Rolling Readers Space Coast, which has been providing literacy support to Brevard County elementary school-aged children for 25 years, according to its website.
Children who have competed in the annual Rolling Readers WRITES competition will be recognized at the event. Children who won first, second and third place will receive pre-paid scholarships and other prizes that night.
