Missing 15-year-old last seen when dropped off at Seminole High School in Sanford

SANFORD, Fla. – A 15-year-old girl was reported missing nearly one week ago when she didn’t come home from school, according to the Sanford Police Department.

The department said Leondra Chapman was last seen around 7:30 a.m. on May 3 when she was dropped off at Seminole High School. Police said the girl was reported as a runaway by her grandmother on May 4.

Police said she was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with “Warner” on the front, gray sweatpants and black slides. The department said she has run away from home before, but this is the first time her family reported her as a runaway.

Officers said she is known to frequent Sanford, Altamonte Springs and Orlando.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
