ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An affidavit released Tuesday shows the timeline of a Pine Hills shooting spree by a 19-year-old accused of killing three people, including a 9-year-old girl, and wounding two others.

He is also facing attempted first-degree murder in the shootings of the girl’s mother, whose name has not been released, and Spectrum News 13 photographer Jesse Walden, 29.

The timeline of Wednesday’s shooting spree provided by the sheriff’s office is as follows:

11:13 a.m.: First 911 call came in reporting the shooting of Augustin.

11:17 a.m.: Deputies arrive on Hialeah Street in response to the 911 call.

11:29 a.m.: Augustin is pronounced dead.

According to an arrest warrant, deputies found Augustin outside the passenger side of a car on the street, where the driver remained on the scene. The warrant shows the witness told deputies he was driving around 10:30 a.m. when he picked up his friend of about six years, later identified as Augustin, from her home. They drove around for about 30 minutes when they saw Moses walking north on Hastings Street, deputies said.

The witness told deputies Moses “seemed down” so he offered the suspect a ride, the warrant reads. According to the warrant, Moses sat in the back directly behind Augustin, when moments later, the driver heard a loud bang and saw blood on her. The driver then called 911 and said Moses fled the scene, according to the warrant.

2:14 p.m.: T’yonna and her mother arrive at their home on Harrington Drive.

3:21 p.m.: Deputies reopen Hialeah Street and take down crime tape for the investigation.

3:49 p.m.: Moses went into the backyard of the home on Harrington Drive.

3:53 p.m.: Mail was delivered to the home while Moses was in the backyard or inside.

3:59 p.m.: Vehicle with Walden and Lyons inside pulls onto Harrington Drive and turns onto Hialeah Street.

4:03 p.m.: Moses leaves home on Harrington Drive.

An arrest warrant affidavit said the 9-year-old girl was shot twice while her mother was shot once in the arm.

The girl’s mother, who was taking a nap, said she woke up to her daughter yelling, “He shot me,” as she ran into the bedroom, according to the affidavit.

The girl’s mother said her daughter jumped into her bed when she heard two gunshots and felt a bullet hit her arm, the affidavit shows. The two hid in the bathroom until law enforcement officers arrived. The girl was able to tell her mother what the shooter looked like, according to the affidavit, and described him as having dreadlocks.

The woman told detectives the back door to the home is sometimes unlocked for letting their dog out, according to the affidavit.

4:05 p.m.: 911 comes in reporting shooting of Lyons and Walden.

Lyons was in the passenger seat of a Spectrum News 13 vehicle while Walden was getting camera equipment out of the trunk to set up for a live shot. Walden told deputies he saw Moses approaching the back of the vehicle and then opened fire, the affidavit said.

Walden fell to the ground and said Moses continued shooting at him before he started shooting at the vehicle, where Lyons was seated, according to the affidavit. Investigators said there were several bullet holes in the vehicle, including one through the driver’s window.

A nearby news crew rendered aid and was able to take video of Moses that was provided to investigators, according to the affidavit.

4:06 p.m.: 911 hang-up reported from Harrington Drive.

4:08 p.m.: 9-year-old’s mother calls 911 and reports she and her daughter were shot.

4:11 p.m.: Deputies respond to scenes on Hialeah Street and Harrington Drive.

4:30 p.m.: Moses is found at Bolling Drive and Hialeah Street and arrested.

Body camera video released by the sheriff’s office shows the moment deputies jump out of their car, point their guns and demand Moses get on the ground.

The video shows deputies approach Moses, who has his hands up, and pull him to the ground. As deputies struggle to get Moses on his back to put him in handcuffs, he’s heard screaming, “They killing me, they’re killing me.”

At one point, deputies get a knife and cut the fabric of his pants, where they find a gun.

“Grab the zero (gun), it’s hot still,” a deputy said.

4:46 p.m.: Lyons is pronounced dead at Orlando Health.

6 p.m.: T’yonna is pronounced dead at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

In addition to the murder and attempted murder charges, Moses faces an armed burglary charge.
