APOPKA, Fla. – Apopka police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Fifth Third Bank location on Wednesday.

Officers responded around 12:40 p.m. to the Fifth Third Bank at 1495 Rock Springs Road, reporting the suspect had entered the bank, walked behind the teller counter and removed money from an open drawer before running away.

Though a picture of the suspect was included in the Apopka Police Department’s news release, a description of the individual was not provided.

No injuries were reported, police said, adding members of the department’s Criminal Investigations Unit were working at the time of this writing to gather additional information.
