Two men were arrested following a pair of Orange County bank robberies last week, according to the Orlando Police Department.

A man wanted in two Winter Park bank robberies has been taken into federal custody.

Police in Minnesota say a man accused of holding five employees hostage at a bank has been captured after an hourslong standoff.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Sheriff’s deputies are seeking information about a man who attempted to rob a bank in Winter Park Tuesday. Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to an attempted robbery around 9:14 a.m. at 7606 Aloma Ave. in east Orange County. In a tweet, the Sheriff’s Office said the man entered the bank and attempted to commit a bank robbery but thankfully, no one was injured. TAMPA, Fla. – A thief who authorities in Florida said likely blew up three ATMs was able to take money from a Regions Bank in Valrico on Sunday. The other explosions happened at a BB&T in Oldsmar in November and a Pilot Bank in Tampa in December. The thief was seen on surveillance images wearing dark clothing with a cloth mask that only revealed his eyes.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies are hoping newly released surveillance video will lead to the arrest of a man wanted for robbing an Orange County bank. The video shows the man walking into the Trustco on South John Young Parkway Monday morning. Investigators say the man implied he had a weapon and then handed a teller a note demanding money.
