ORLANDO, Fla. – News 6 is highlighting and capturing some of the contributions, achievements and stories of Central Florida’s Hispanic community during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

We want you to share stories that showcase the Hispanic community in your area this Hispanic Heritage Month. Submit your ideas below:

Last year, we told stories about people getting results and helping in their communities.

News 6′s Ezzy Castro spoke with OCSO Sgt. Angel Cirino about recruiting Hispanic deputies and a free program OCSO offers to Spanish-speaking residents to give them an opportunity to learn more about the sheriff’s office at no cost. Click here to read more.
