ORLANDO, Fla. – Over a dozen more eateries across Central Florida were forced to close down after receiving a visit from a health inspector last week, according to state records.
In all, 14 eateries were told to shut down — at least temporarily.

Per health inspection records, these closures stemmed from problems with pests, storage issues, and time/temperature violations for certain foods, among various other concerns.
However, nearly all of the affected restaurants were ultimately allowed to reopen upon meeting inspection standards.
The full list of Central Florida eateries forced to close between July 13 - 19 is as follows:
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS
- 2 Hermanos Tacos & Burrito — 451 E. Altamonte Drive
- Closed on July 15
- Five dead roaches found on premises
- Over 20 live roaches found on premises
- Met inspection standards on July 17
CLEARWATER
- Nautical Brews Pizza — 2481 N. McMullen Booth Road
- Closed on July 15
- Two dead roaches found on the floor beneath the triple sink
- Over 120 rodent droppings found on premises
- Dishmachine chlorine sanitizer not at proper minimum strength
- Met inspection standards on July 17
CLERMONT
- Crooked Spoon Gastropub — 200 Citrus Tower Blvd.
- Closed on July 15
- Five dead roaches found on premises
- Four live roaches found in dry storage beneath canned dry goods rack (operator was aware and had pest control come by)
- Nine roach droppings found beneath canned dry goods shelf
- Time violations for sweet onion jam, SoCo wing sauce, and bourbon cream

- Papa John’s Pizza — 4420 S. Hwy. 27
