The rocket is carrying a NILESAT-301, a geostationary communications satellite, that will provide digital broadband and internet connectivity services to Nilesat, an Egyptian operator.

After stage separation, the rocket’s first-stage booster landed successfully on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean.

The next SpaceX launch as of right now is expected to be a commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station, now set for no earlier than June 28.
