The new event is just one of several activities that Aquatica has lined up this year as it celebrates 15 years in operation. Some of the “Aloha to Summer” activities planned include a welcome ceremony every morning, a summer dance party throughout the park and a select number of contests for kids at the park’s wave pool.

Leaders said guests will also hear a new island playlist as they relax along the shores of the wave pool or splash into some fun at some of its exciting attractions. Just last week, the water park opened its newest children’s play area, Turi’s Kid Cove.

New food and drinks will also be available at various park restaurants and bars including a coconut pineapple cupcake, pineapple BBQ pork sandwich, a tropical fish sandwich and a frozen jalapeño mango margarita.
