Januaryโs full moon is also known as the Wolf Moon because howling wolves were often heard at this time of the year. The moon has looked full for the past several nights, but will officially be full Thursday. ORLANDO, Fla. โ AdventHealth and other hospitals in Central Florida had no shortage of New Yearโs babies as the world said goodbye 2020 and hello 2021. Baby LukeLittle baby Aiden was born at 12:14 a.m. in Orlando at AdventHealth Winter Park. Less than 30 minutes later, baby Marcus made his entrance into the world at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares. Baby MarcusMarcus was born at 12:21 a.m. Another baby boy was born at 12:57 a.m. at AdventHealth Orlando. Baby NovaleeFollowing the boys, baby girl Novalee was born Friday morning at 4:20 a.m. at AdventHealth Ocala.

Yet the coronavirus scourge that dominated the year is also looming over New Yearโs festivities and forcing officials worldwide to tone them down. ORLANDO, Fla. โ Sunday is the transition day to warmer times for the last week of 2020. After another cold start, temperatures warm back into the upper 60s. Future radarTemperatures warm back to the 70s Monday and through the middle of the week. Rain chances return later in the day New Yearโs Day. Slightly cooler air returns for the first few day beyond New Yearโs Day.
