A Connecticut homeowner got quite the shock when he recently returned home. An unwanted visitor, in the form of a black bear, was roaming inside his West Hartford home.

A home security camera in California caught an intruder sneaking into a home, but it wasn't a burglar.

Gray Vinson shared a video showing a gator wading through the water. To the left of the screen is what appears to be a small shark swimming at pace with the gator. Vinson explained the waterway is part of the Indian River Lagoon. According to the estuary’s website, the Indian River Lagoon is known as “the most bio-diverse habitat in North America.” The lagoon has a special ecosystem that provides a varied habitat and 4,000 plant and animal species. Though the gator’s companion is yet to be confirmed to be a shark, the lagoon is known to be a haven for bull sharks.

Brentwood, N.Y. – A New York mother is facing several charges after police say she crashed her vehicle into a home while driving drunk. Investigators say Ashley Thomas-Smith, 34, was driving with her three small children when she lost control, veered off the road and crashed. The homeowners say Thomas-Smith’s vehicle went through their kitchen and narrowly missed them and their children. Her daughters were taken to the hospital, but were not hurt. They are now being cared for by their father.

RIO DE JANEIRO – An unusual sight was caught on camera at a recent soccer game in Brazil. A colorful macaw forced a time out after it landed on a player’s head. The bizarre incident happened in the middle of a training match over the weekend.
