Storm that slammed California moving east
A powerful cross country that has slammed Sorthern California with 7 inches of rain and Northern California with snow is expected to shift east across the U.S. this week. The storm is expected to bring snow from Colorado to Minnesota and thunderstorms to the Southern U.S. Danya Bacchus reports.

She's competing in her third Winter Games and won her first medal, having just missed out in Pyeongchang. She won Olympic gold in the 4x5-kilometer relay at the 2010 Vancouver Games and has won 10 world championship titles but had never before won an individual Olympic gold medal.

Volusia County Schools will delay start of fall practices
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. Volusia County Schools announced the district will not start fall practices on July 27. School officials will continue to monitor the COVID-19 conditions and will make a decision later to begin fall practice. The district is working with the Volusia County Department of Health and state officials on a start date. Conditioning will continue to take place at the moment. Fall sports postponed for Flagler County Schools
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. Flagler County Schools announced fall sports have been postponed. School officials said tryouts and practices will not start on July 27. The district wants to remind students to complete the online athletic clearings so they can participate in conditioning and be ready for tryouts.
