The company packs all the holiday sentiment in its new Christmas advert that of course tugs at the heartstrings. The animated tale begins in 1940 with a little girl named Lola who was given a stuffed Mickey Mouse plushie as a Christmas gift. Fast forward to 2005 and Lola is a grandmother and even decades later, she still has her beloved stuffed Mickey. [WATCH BELOW: 2020 Disney Christmas Advert]Lola wakes up on Christmas day to annual holiday decorations that take her back to her childhood and her granddaughter’s Christmas gift -- a mended Mickey, almost as good as new. Additionally, the vintage Mickey Mouse toy in the advert is also available to purchase either at the Disney Store or via the online shop.
Disney’s new ‘Wishes Come True Blue’ collection benefiting Make-A-Wish foundation
ORLANDO, Fla – Disney parks unveiled Thursday the first-ever color clothing collection that will benefit and expand its efforts to help the non-profit group Make-A-Wish. Leaders said the “Wishes Come True Blue” color collection was inspired by the Make-A-Wish foundation and will celebrate the more than 40 year partnership between Disney and the non-profit. Disney recently said it has helped grant more than 140,000 wishes with 8,000 of those wishes happening at Walt Disney World. Alabama teen surprised with Make-A-Wish trip to Germany
Copyright 2019 CNNOrange Beach, AL (WALA) - A Robertsdale teen who beat cancer is set to take the trip of a lifetime. "Make a Wish" and the Alabama Independent Auto Dealers Associations Ladies Auxiliary granting 19-year-old Keaton Krebs and his family a trip to Germany. They made the presentation at the AIADA's 50 annual convention at Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach. In 2017, Keaton had just finished chemo after being diagnosed with leukemia earlier that year in February. Friday night was emotional and unexpected for Keaton and his family as they surprised him with the trip.
