FHP: Altamonte Springs woman, 48, killed in single-car crash

All lanes have reopened, troopers say

CHRISTMAS, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened early Sunday, troopers said.

Troopers said a car was driving west on State Road 528 when it left the road and hit a tree.

Marilyn Medina, 48, of Altamonte Springs, was killed. She was a passenger in the car that crashed.

Two others were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center and are now listed in critical condition.

Troopers said all lanes of traffic have since reopened.

No other details were available.
