HOLDEN HEIGHTS, Fla. – A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday morning in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal crash was reported at 6:30 a.m. on Orange Blossom Trail at 39th Street near Holden Heights.
The pedestrian, 32-year-old Victor Perez, was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, the FHP said.
Troopers said the man was not in a crosswalk or at an intersection when he was struck by a 2007 Honda driven by a 68-year-old Christmas man.
The crash remains under investigation.
