The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
Winter Garden police said the man, whose name has not been released, was riding a black bike with no lights while wearing black clothing when he was struck by a vehicle. The victim was then run over by several cars, several of which did not stay at the scene, police said.
“It is believed that based on the time of day, the dark clothing, and the lack of light, that these (drivers) may not be aware of what they struck,” police said in a news release.
Anyone who believes they might have been involved is asked to call Master Police Officer Nathan Cameron at 407-636-3636.
