ORLANDO, Fla. – A new ramp for drivers to merge onto the westbound side of I-4 opened Monday morning in downtown Orlando.
The on-ramp allows drivers to get on I-4 West from Gore Street and both directions of State Road 408. It's part of the I-4 Ultimate project and is the first new permanent structure at the I-4/408 interchange.

The original entrance will close nightly from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. this week to accommodate the traffic shift.
