SunRail to resume service in Central Florida after Hurricane Milton. Here’s when

ORLANDO, Fla. – SunRail officials announced Thursday that the commuter rail service will soon resume normal operations after being halted for Hurricane Milton.

According to a news release, normal service will resume on Monday, Oct. 14, with regular schedules for all trains.

“Crews are inspecting the corridor to assess the storm’s impact and resolve any issues to reinstate rail service for SunRail, as well as freight and Amtrak operations,” the release read in part.

Officials said crews will be reinstalling gates, removing any obstruction on the railroad tracks and conducting safety inspections.
