BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A worker trapped in a trench collapse at a Brevard County construction site Thursday afternoon was rescued hours later, according to deputies.
The construction worker became trapped on 4885 U.S. 1 in Sharpes, the sheriff’s office said.

According to deputies, the man is in stable condition and dispatchers successfully rescued him.
