“Celebrating the global community of runDisney, the 2022 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend presented by Shokz will explore the music, stories and culinary delights found around World Showcase during the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival,” Disney explained on its website.

Thursday morning, runners arrived at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports to pickup race bibs, t-shirts and experience the Health & Fitness Expo. For the first day of the expo, Disney put in place a virtual queue for attendees to use in order to purchase event merchandise. Officials said this new tool will allow guests to enjoy more of the expo rather than waiting in line.

On Friday morning, runners will participate in the Disney Wine & Dine 5K. That will be followed by the 10K on Saturday and the half-marathon and challenge on Sunday.

Disney said participants must attend the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at least one day prior to their first event to pick up their race bib, participant shirt and pre-purchased merchandise.

The Health & Fitness Expo will be open during the following times:

  • Friday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Nov. 5 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Following the 2022 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, runDisney will host its 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend beginning Jan. 4.
