Oakland officials lift boil water notice after pressure loss
OAKLAND, Fla. โ According to officials, the town of Oakland suffered an equipment malfunction Thursday at the Oakland Water Plant. The issue resulted in a loss of pressure that was less than the Stateโs minimum guidelines for proper water production and delivery. The loss in pressure resulted in a precautionary boil water alert. On Friday, city officials rescinded the notice after lab results confirmed that there was no harmful bacteria found in the samples. City of St. Cloud boil water notice lifted
CLOUD, Fla. โ A precautionary boil water notice issued for St. Cloud after a city fire hydrant was hit by a vehicle has been lifted. The affected areas included Narcoossee Road from Dan Smith Road to Boggy Creek Road. Following the repair of the fire hydrant and the satisfactory completion of the bacteriological survey, the City has determined the water is safe to drink.
