LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Though glass is among the items that are recyclable, much of the glass we throw into our recyclables ends up in a landfill. Each year, 20,000 visitors from around the world ride horse trails at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. A glass pulverizer is used to build up worn-down horse trails instead of using traditional sand that must be bought in and shipped. The machine files down the edges of the glass fragments, meaning no sharp edges to damage feet or hooves. EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Begins Jan. 14, 2021

ORLANDO, Fla – Walt Disney World has released its calendar of operating hours for its theme parks through the month of March. Walt Disney World is also releasing its hours of operation for the reopening of Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park, which is scheduled for March 7. Officials said the resort will continue to operate the service for new and existing reservations made at Disney Resort hotels for arrivals throughout this year. The Extra Magic Hours benefit, which was suspended when Walt Disney World Resort reopened last summer, will not return.
