The United States Postal Service has unveiled a new stamp that will help raise funds for those living with post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD. The "Healing PTSD" stamp features a photo by Mark Laita of a plant sprouting from the ground surrounded by dead leaves. The photo by Mark Laita is meant to symbolize PTSD healing. USPSPTSD "cuts across demographic lines," the postal service website said. A roll of 20 "Healing PTSD" stamps will run $13 online.

Postal Service will use Nvidia Corps artificial intelligence technology to improve efficiency of package data processing, the chip designer said on Tuesday. The new AI system will help process package data 10 times faster for the Postal Service, which processes and delivers about 146 billion pieces of mail in a year, Nvidia said. Nvidias systems are being purchased by the Postal Service under a contract with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. The tie-up is expected to be fully operational by spring of 2020, Nvidia said, adding that delivery and testing of the system will start this year.

A 2008 photo of Ifill taken by photographer Robert Severi is now set to appear on a Forever stamp. Gwen Ifill, who passed away in 2016 after batting cancer, will receive a stamp as part of USPS's Black Heritage series. While the USPS unveiled these and other stamp designs Tuesday, they did warn that the 2020 stamps "are preliminary and subject to change."
