A Mount Greenwood bar and restaurant that hosted a rally for former President Donald Trump in November has been closed indefinitely by Chicago’s department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection after violating COVID-19 restrictions by holding an indoor gathering last weekend with 99 people, city officials said Thursday.

He returned to the bar the next day with the same man and another, complained about how he was treated the day before and demanded free food and beer to make up for it. He suggested he would have protesters burn the place down if the owners didn’t comply, saying police let protesters do what they want.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. The alcohol license has been suspended at a UCF-area bar after patrons and employees tested positive for the coronavirus. The Florida Department of Businesses and Professional Regulation issued the emergency suspension of an alcoholic beverage vendor license to The Knights Pub. The DBPR said 13 employees of the bar tested positive for COVID-19 and 28 patrons of the bar tested positive for the coronavirus after visiting the bar. Court documents show The Knights Pub is accused of serving patrons alcoholic beverages while they were not being seated for service on June 5. According to court documents, social distancing measures were not enforced and patrons were being served alcoholic beverages while not being seated for service on June 6.

Customers at Tybee Island’s Sand Bar have been stapling dollar bills to the walls for years but as business dried up due to the coronavirus, owner Jennifer Knox took matters into her own hands.
