Authorities say former NFL running back Zac Stacy has been arrested after the mother of his child showed detectives video of him attacking her at her central Florida home.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. Deputies with the Orange County Sheriffs Office are still seeking more information in the murder of Herique Jean. The Orange County Sheriffs Office said around 3:52 p.m. on Saturday deputies responded the 700 block of 20th street in reference to a shooting. Deputies said when they got to the location, Jean, also known as Eric Jean was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS. Crimeline said if your information leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a reward.

Authorities were initially called to the HomeTowne Studios on Delegates Drive near Consulate Drive for a reported shooting. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a man was found with “obvious trauma to the body.”The man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he died, deputies said. Sheriff’s officials on Friday identified the man as Kevin King Jr., 22,The culprits have not been caught, deputies said.

FDLE officials said Deputy Brian Calkins, with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, gave Volusia County Deputy Phillip Donaldson two firearms he said he got from a cousin. Calkins asked Donaldson to dispose of the revolver and semi-automatic pistol, according to the FDLE investigation. Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood requested the FDLE investigation in June, according to the FDLE. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said Calkins was hired in May 2018 and assigned to youth services. He was formerly employed by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, records show.

That warrant was not for Melvin and deputies did not know who he was, even asking his name in the body camera video. The deputy drew his firearm and told Melvin to drop his gun but Melvin instead ran, according to the affidavit.

A civilian employee at the Orange County Sheriffs Office is off the job after he was arrested on an aggravated assault charge with a weapon during a domestic violence incident, deputies said. The next day, it came to light that Gooden was an inventory specialist in the Orange County Sheriffs Offices supply division and at that point, another review was conducted. Gooden, 25, has been arrested on a domestic violence charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and has since been fired from his job. ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. The Orange County Sheriffs Office on Thursday released a photo they say shows the suspected gunman in a shooting that left a 14-year-old dead. Deputies said the shooting happened Wednesday around 6 p.m. on Cypress Street and Willie Mays Parkway. The teenage victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital where they were pronounced dead as a result of a gunshot wound. The picture released Thursday shows a person with their torso sticking out of the rear window of a silver or gold Nissan Altima while aiming a gun. Anyone who recognizes the suspected shooter is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. A 12-year-old boy was injured when a bullet came flying through a bedroom window and struck him, the childs grandmother said. The Orange County Sheriffs Office was called to the shooting in the 5600 block of Pine Chase Drive on Sunday morning. 12-year-old-shot in Orange County, suspect unknown, deputies sayThey just started shooting and the bullet came though my window, she said. ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. A civilian employee at the Orange County Sheriffs Office has been arrested on possession of child pornography charges, department officials said. Brett Coleman, the departments mobile video systems coordinator, was arrested Friday in Lake County after a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation, according to a news release. He has been relieved of duty without pay while the criminal case and an internal investigation take place. These are very serious criminal allegations that will be thoroughly investigated and the results of that investigation will be made public, Orange County Sheriff John Mina said. All Sheriffs Office personnel must be held to the highest standards of conduct whether on duty or off duty.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. A portion of Orange Blossom Trail is shut down until further notice due to a large police presence in the area. The northbound lanes reopened shortly thereafter but he southbound lanes are still closed. Pictures from the area show crime scene tape and several patrol vehicles. The Orange County Sheriffs Office has not provided information on the nature of the investigation. Check back for more updates on this developing story.

ORANGE COUNTY – An employee of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office was arrested for video voyeurism, according to deputies. OCSO communications specialist Llewellyn Berkheiser III was arrested after someone reported a video recording device allegedly placed in a bedroom by Berkheiser. Berkheiser, who was hired in 2018, has been relieved without pay while the criminal case underway.
