The fatal crash was reported around 11:55 p.m. on eastbound State Road 408 at Conway Road. According to Orlando police, both riders on the motorcycle were ejected in the crash. The other passenger was taken to a hospital but is expected to survive, police said. It’s not known if anyone in the car was injured.

Troopers also said that while they were investigating the fatal crash, a DUI driver plowed through the crime scene and hit a patrol vehicle.

Orlando police identified the victim as Brandon Michael McNally. Police said officers were called around 10:50 p.m. to The Grove apartments on Conway Road between Curry Ford Road and Michigan Street. According to police, witnesses and evidence show that the shooting might have been a self-inflicted and accidental, but homicide has not been ruled out.
