The parents of 18-year-old Nick Miner are still waiting for answers nearly two months after he was killed in an Orange County crash.

Timber Creek High School, May 26 at 2 p.m.University High School, May 26 at 7:30 p.m.Evans High School, May 27 at 8:30 a.m.Jones High School, May 27 at 2 p.m.Ocoee High School, May 27 at 7:30 p.m.Orange Technical College, June 2 at 8:30 a.m.District officials said the schedule is based on the availability of the arena during NBA playoffs or Solar Bears hockey games. In the event the Amway Center is unable to host any of the ceremonies on the above dates, alternative locations will be determined, the county said. All guidelines and protocols are being made in conjunction with the Florida Department of Health in Orange County and the Amway Center.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Two local high school football games that were supposed to happen Friday night have been canceled due to positive COVID-19 cases, according to Orange County Public Schools. The affected games are: Freedom High School vs. East River High School and Ocoee High School vs. Celebration High School. The Ocoee game has been canceled due to contact tracing at Celebration, which played against Freedom last week. Games involving Evans High School vs. West Orange High School and Edgewater High vs. Wekiva High have also been canceled earlier this season. Orange County football players are required to get rapid coronavirus testing before games.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. Orange County Public Schools announced as of Aug. 21, preliminary data shows there have been 54 confirmed cases of coronavirus at 34 schools and four other work locations. The district said the Florida Department of Health in Orange County has issued 199 quarantine letters to specific students and staff members at eight schools.
