Former Florida State and Olympia High School star Deondre Francois finished 6/13 for eight yards with a touchdown and one interception. “I feel like we’re heading in the right direction,” said Guardians head coach Terrell Buckley.

The Guardians will open their debut season February 18 at Houston at 3:00 on ESPN. Former Florida State and Olympia High School standout Deondre Francois has been drafted by his new hometown team. Down 22 to Ole Miss, he led Florida State to its biggest comeback win in school history. “Excited to play football again, excited to be in the XFL and excited to be in Orlando in my home town where I went to high school.
