Guardians fall to San Antonio in home opener, drop to 0-2
ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Orlando Guardians lost to the San Antonio Brahmas 30-12 Sunday afternoon in their first home game in franchise history. The Guardians quarterbacks only combined for 75 passing yards in the loss. Paxton Lynch finished 9/19 for 79 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Former Florida State and Olympia High School star Deondre Francois finished 6/13 for eight yards with a touchdown and one interception. “I feel like we’re heading in the right direction,” said Guardians head coach Terrell Buckley.
