Viewer Don sent me a request to please check this area out because he wants my opinion whether some type of traffic-control device needs to be installed. Although I already know how I feel about this area, I want to take you guys along for the ride.
Operator announced for food hall coming to Orlandoโs Packing District
Dr. Phillips Charities, which is spearheading the construction of Orlando's new Packing District, announced Wednesday who will be operating a planned 17,300 square foot hall in the multi-use residential area currently being built.
Construction begins on 66-acre park at Orlandoโs Packing District
ORLANDO, Fla. โ Local leaders came out to Orlandoโs new Packing District Thursday to commemorate the start of construction of what will be a 66-acre park that will help transform what once was a predominant industrial area. The park will be located along Princeton Street near John Young Parkway and Orange Blossom Trail. The space will also house Orlandoโs Tennis Centre featuring more than a dozen new courts, plus walking and biking trails. Crews outside continue to redevelop Princeton Street down to four lanes of traffic. Dyer told News 6 he expects the park to be completed sometime during summer 2021.
